The first online meeting of the LAC CoP was held on February 18 with the participation of most of the members. In that meeting FLACSO Argentina presented the results of the GEAM CORE survey. The members share their comments about the adaptations that they will need in order to distribute it at their own institutions as a first step to plan, implement or improve existing Gender Equality Plans at their universities.
All agreed that the distribution of the GEAM CORE is the first step and a most valuable tool to know the current situation in their institution and to plan next actions towards Gender Equality. In the end all members agreed on a work plan from February to the end of October 2020 with regular meetings and expected products.
